Ethiopian Agricultural Business Corporation (EABC) reportedly failed to get acceptances of its counteroffer of $647.19/t FOB under its purchase tender closed on 25 March. In this view, the company has reportedly floated a new tender to purchase 420,000 t of DAP closing on 23 April. The fertilizer shall be shipped from loading ports to Djibouti from 15 May to 20 June.

Reminder: EABC contracted Midgulf to supply 60,000 t of DAP by Saudi Arabia’s Ma’aden (lot No. 20) at $647.19/t FOB Saudi Arabia, with loading scheduled for 25—30 April. In total, the importer received offers of $647.19—690.30/t FOB for 465,358 t of DAP from Saudi Arabia, China, Jordan and Russia from seven suppliers under the tender closed on 25 March.
