IPL has received acceptances of the counteroffers of $385/t CFR India’s West Coast and $398.24/t CFR India’s East Coast for supplies of around 643,000 t of urea under the 8 April purchase tender from eight companies.

Market sources said that IPL would repeat the above-mentioned counteroffers to the rest of tenderers after this first round of acceptances. Suppliers shall either accept or reject them by 12.00 Indian Standard Time on 13 April 2025.

The quantities offered by the companies that have already accepted the counteroffers are tabulated below.
